Bonelli's Eagle Hide

This location is situated on a dehesa estate where the quality of its landscape is unique, of great beauty, with pure Mediterranean forest, an iconic corner of the Sierra Morena in Cordoba.

Located in a mountainous area with excellent visibility and natural light, this location allows capturing the majesty of the eagle in flight and perched. The surroundings change with the seasons, offering different backgrounds for the photographs. It is exceptionally beautiful between February and June, due to the abundance of flowers adorning the ground.

Species:

Bonelli's eagle (Aquila fasciata). Possible presence of other birds such as Iberian magpie (Cyanopica cooki), rock thrush (Monticola solitarius), black redstart in winter (Phoenicurus ochruros), and southern shrike in spring and summer (Lanius senator).

This hide offers a unique opportunity to photograph the golden eagle in its natural environment, in optimal conditions for light and composition.

Rules and recommendations

• Pick-up point: Av. de Andalucia, 14, 14430 Adamuz, Cordoba.
• It is important to arrive at the agreed time, as entry to the hide must be done without disturbing the environment.
• Any noise or sudden movement inside the hide is prohibited.
• It is recommended to bring lenses of 300mm or more for close-ups and flight shots.
• Discreet clothing adapted to the day's weather is recommended.
