Nocturnal Mammals Hide

This hide is designed for the observation and photography of nocturnal mammals, with a special focus on the genet (Genetta genetta) and the beech marten (Martes foina). Thanks to its strategic location and specialized lighting system, it offers a unique experience to capture wildlife in the dead of night.

Conditions and Features

Location:

A drinking pool that acts as an attraction point, allowing for the creation of spectacular reflections in the water. Logs and perches are renewed with each season, providing a variety of natural settings for photographs.

Duration:

The session starts at dusk and lasts approximately 4 hours.

Capacity:

Up to 4 people.

Spy Glass:

Allows observation without being detected.

Lighting:

LED light system specially calibrated for nocturnal photography, allowing captures with natural lighting and without disturbing the behavior of the animals.

Distance:

Between 5 and 15 meters, allowing captures with great detail.

Species:

In addition to the genet and the beech marten, it is possible to spot other nocturnal visitors like foxes (Vulpes vulpes), badgers (Meles meles), or Eurasian eagle-owls (Bubo bubo).

Rules and recommendations

• Pick-up point: Av. de Andalucia, 14, 14430 Adamuz, Cordoba.
• It is important to arrive at the agreed time, as entry to the hide must be done without disturbing the environment.
• Any noise or sudden movement inside the hide is prohibited.
• It is recommended to bring lenses of 200mm or more for close-ups and flight shots.
• Discreet clothing suitable for the weather conditions of the day.
